"The past few days have been very stressful, finding out alternative solutions, I've barely slept since Saturday evening, I don't want to dwell too much on the problems, right now we are thinking of solutions. Urenna said: "We booked hotel rooms for guests, money we can't get back if this doesn't go ahead, it's a nightmare. They chose December for the traditional wedding as their family would already be flying back home to spend Christmas with their loved ones, so it was the ideal time. The couple started planning their big day in March this year, and have already spent around £15,000 on deposits, clothes and jewellery - the figure is not including travel to Nigeria and does not include what is still left to pay.Īlongside this, the couple will also be spending £25,000 on their English wedding next summer. They have now spent most of their relationship in lockdown, and Urenna says she just wants them to "get on with their lives". ![]() Urenna and Emmanuel got engaged in February this year after getting together just before lockdown early last year.
